Who runs it
Ethmerald uploader is the internal publishing tool of the Ethmerald YouTube channel. It is not offered to the public: the only account that authorizes it is the channel's own Google account. Questions about this policy go to ethmerald@gmail.com.
YouTube API Services
Ethmerald uploader uses YouTube API Services. The data it handles through them is also covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
What it accesses
With the permission "Manage your YouTube account", granted by the channel's own Google account, it accesses:
- the channel's ID, name, handle and branding settings, to check which channel it is connected to and to update the channel's description, language, banner and watermark;
- the videos, thumbnails and images it uploads itself, with their titles and descriptions.
It does not access any other user's data, nor the channel's comments, subscribers, analytics or messages.
What it stores
- The OAuth access and refresh tokens, in a private file on the channel's own server, outside any public location.
- The ID and link of each video it publishes, in the channel's private working files.
Nothing else obtained through YouTube API Services is stored. The tokens are kept while the tool is in use and deleted when its access is revoked or the tool is retired.
How it uses and shares data
Only to publish and manage the channel's own videos and settings. No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, profiling or analytics.
Revoking access
The account that authorized Ethmerald uploader can revoke its access at any time from the Google security settings page: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revoking it makes the stored tokens useless; on request to ethmerald@gmail.com they are also deleted.
This website
These pages are static. They set no cookies of their own, run no analytics and load nothing from third parties. They are hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes the technical data of each request, such as the IP address, to serve them, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Changes
This page states the policy in force; the date at the top is when it last changed.
